One of my favourite spot in the lovely west village. Relaxed atmosphere, delicious sandwiches, nice coffee. A very lovely spot for a pause or a quick lunch.

A lovely little garden where to read a book or have a sandwich at lunch with many Londoners on their lunch break.

Lovely yarn shop in a very nice and quiet court, just off Carnaby Street. The choise of yarns is poor but they also sell lovely knitted objects and gadget for knitters.

I have always loved this place. I love Liberty's printed fabrics, and the Rowan yarn shop is a dream. Employees are friendly and very nice. And the building - both inside and outside - is worth a visit.

Thorntons toffees are just the best toffees in the whole world. I have tried many, everywhere, and never found others ad soft, buttery, not too sweet, juicy as those at Thorntons. Try the mixed package, but my favorite are the Treacle Special Toffees.

Ella's Bakehouse cupcake is a perfect spot for a quality pause after a lot of walking and shopping around Covent garden. The cupcakes are simply delicious and perfectly balanced in taste and richness. The tea is just lovely. You can have a large mug of tea plus a cupcake for 2.60 p. and sit outside while watching people grocery shopping at the market.

A great true English pub in the heath of the touristic Oxford Circus. the food is earthy, the service friendly and the atmosphere cozy and joyful. A very good spot to have a lovely true English dinner.

Il più piccolo comune dell'Umbria (meno di 300 abitanti) ed uno dei più alti della regione (836 m), Polino è un piccolo gioiello della Val Nerina. Noi ci siamo finiti attirati dalla Sagra del Castrato (i primi di Agosto), dopo una passeggiata alle Marmore, ma merita una visita a prescindere. Dal centro del paese partono 3 sentieri. Noi abbiamo fatto quello verso la sommità del monte alla ricerca dell'eremo di S. Antonio, e anche se non l'abbiamo trovato, è stata una bellissima passeggiata. A Polino è anche possibile visitare il Museo Dell'Appennino Umbro.

Nascosto tra i meandri della deliziosa rocca di Porano c'è un ristorante umbro veramente piacevole. Caldo ed accogliente d'inverno e fresco e tranquillo d'estate, quando si può mangiare in terrazza con vista sulla valle. Il cibo è quello della tradizione locale, con qualche pietanza a sorpresa. Buono e piacevolissimo.

Un'ottima alternativa quando Remo a Testaccio è chiuso. Pizza sottile e croccantissima. Fiori di zucca fritti al momento. Servizio veloce e gentile. Nella sala interna c'è anche l'aria condizionata.
