club & nightlife, london Bar Vinyl

Old skool hip hop, soul and funk in a good club where you can also eat something like a pizza, hotdogs and other quick stuff. Don't miss the drinks and have fun with the vibrant music of the deejays that usually come between 9pm to 10pm.

restaurant & food, london Scarsdale

Very nice pub, friendly atmosphere and good food. It has a roaring open fire for the winter, and a terrace outside for the summer, facing a lovely garden square. They also have a restuarant at the back, but more expensive.

restaurant & food, london Nobu

Quite a fashionable place to see and to be seen it offers a good bar and a trendy asian cooking. Pricy and cool.

theatre & cinema, london St. John Bread and Wine

Traditional british food with some experimental taste with a bistrot-like interior. I love this place, food, wine and atmosphere. Close to Liverpool Street and Spitalfield Market.

club & nightlife, london The Good Mixer

The Good Mixer used to be one of the most popular pub/club at the time of Britpop, but unfortunately at that time I wasn't there. Now you can still listen good music while you are having a beer with lots of young cool people but nothing compared to the old times (they told me)!

restaurant & food, london Jen Cafe

Mmmmh... Dumplings! I love them! And here in the heart of chinatown in this little restaurant but crowded by locals (and Chinese), you can taste a very good Chinese cuisine not expensive at all. I had incredible dumblings of course and a quarter of roasted duck... delicious!

restaurant & food, london Borough Market

Borough Market is London's oldest food market. Producers from all over the country bring a range of fresh produce to the market, including fish, meats, vegetables, ciders, cheeses, breads, coffees, cakes and patisseries. Really worth a visit and a lunch from one of the stalls!

drink & coffee, london Drawing Rooom cafe

Inside Fulham Palace (at the back), it used to be a Peyton's restaurant so it still has good service and a creative menu but it is - ultimatelly - a cafe with sandwitches and coffees and teas...and booze. They serve wicked tea and scones. Really ideal for those rare sunny days both if you have kids (they can roam free in a safe environment) and if you don't and just want to relax. Can't book over the weekend.
