club & nightlife, berlin Delicious Doughnuts Diskotheken und Clubs

Best spot in Berlin for an after-party. Minimal techno, friendly atmosphere. Go there after 6am.

shopping, berlin Boxhagener Platz Flea Market

I came in this square for two different markets: the first time it was on saturday, the 15th of August, and I find food, bio vegetables, marmelades, Indian food, and typical market stuff (taste the char-grilled stockfish or the bratwurst... MMMH!). The second time it was on sunday and the square was completely different turned into a flea market full of 50-60's stuff, furnitures, chairs, jackets, rings, pins, etc. The sunday market is more interesting but if you want to taste the local market cuisine and you are around the cute Simon Dach Strasse in Friedrichstein take a look.

shopping, berlin Flea Market Mauerpark

Big and interesting sunday market where you can find second hand bikes, food, clothes, vintage stuff and even a huge selection of adhesive tape.

art & museum, berlin East Side Gallery

This is not exactly a tip: the Berlin Wall East Side Gallery is the longer section of wall you can find in town (1.3km) near the center of Friedrichshain, but for me it was very impressive. Decorated by more then 100 artists I was quite shocked when I saw it and I thought about the story of Berlin.

shopping, berlin Le Flo

If you have eaten enough German food and you have nostalgia of French cheeses, cold cuts and wines in this little shop you'll find a good variety of French food. I didn't uderstand if the owner is French or not, cause we spoke in a little German (the only three words I know), we continued in English but it seems to me he had a French accent so I've continued in French. Anyway, you'll surely have no problem to buy delicious stuff.
