One of my favourite spot in the lovely west village. Relaxed atmosphere, delicious sandwiches, nice coffee. A very lovely spot for a pause or a quick lunch.
I have a very good memory of this place. I went here with my sister and her husband when they used to live there. We only had a drink but the atmosphere was very French and the service very kind. I'd love to come back for a complete dinner or lunch.
French restaurant with kind waiters and a pleasant garden if you like to enjoy your dinner outside. The décor is not very accurate (in NYC you can find much better then this) but the food is good and also the service. I had a very good "carré d'agneau" (lamb roasted with rosemary).
Nice and always packed French bistro where you can have crepes, quiches, salads, croque-monsieur, baguette sandwiches, merguez, salmon and other French plates. If you don't like French cuisine you can also have a selection of Italian food such as Fettuccine, Spaghetti, Risotto, etc.
Vietnamese food in a trendy restaurant with red brick on the wall and fashion lights. The food is good but it's not the best Vietnamese I ever taste. Anyway is a good address if you are hanging out around.
Table d'Hote is a tiny French restaurant on the Upper East Side. The salmon and the steak are both wonderful. The food in general is very rich. Prix fixe options are offered for lunch, dinner, and brunch. The atmosphere is very charming. For a great evening, combine with a walk down Museum Mile or through Central Park.
Funny diner in the Theatre District. I went here the second time I went to New York (but the first one I was only 13) with my sister who used to live here and we had lots of fun! All the waiters and waitresses are young musical singers at off-Broadway shows and while they are serving your dinner and drink they sing at the mic all dressed 60's. One day they could be famous! The food is American and good (milkshakes, bacon cheeseburgers, French fries, etc) and especially if it's your first time in the Big Apple it's a nice experience.
