Bin 941 is the restaurant/bar that have launched Vancouver's small-plates trend. The chef and owner is Gord Martin, an heavy-metal singer. The ambience is cool, the music is loud and the big tapas are not bad at all (from risotto to grilled pork chop). The only problem is that is a "hole in the wall" therefore is not always easy to find a seat and you can't book a table in advance.
