"Trattoria" is a typical cheap and cozy restaurant in Rome, often a family business. If you don't know the right adress you risk to pay a lot but in the original ones you'll be satisfied with less then 15-20€ for a complete dinner/lunch. "Simple trattoria where you can eat classic specialities from Roman cuisine such as rigatoni alla carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe. Is a tradition for local people, but if you come here don't expect to find a big choice of dishes. Just seat outside (during the spring and summer), eat your pasta, drink your glass of red/white wine and enjoy a beautiful and warm night in Trastevere. "Great pizza in the neighborhood of Testaccio. Expect long queues but it's definitely worth it. One of the best pizzas in Rome. The supplì are very good too and they have a huge variety of thin and crispy Roman pizzas. One thing: they don't serve "amaro" (spirits). "I like this trattoria where you can find the traditional cuisine from Rome (bucatini, spaghetti, rigatoni all'amatriciana, carbonara, cacio e pepe, gricia, etc and lots of meat dishes with baked potatoes or vegetables). Is always crowded and you'll surely have to wait to have a seat. The reservation is impossibile, just go there and hold on in the cute Via del Governo Vecchio.
